Wilfred Kameni
Wilfred was found by the MCH gate one Sunday. After he told his story to the house parents, he received a clean shirt, new sandals and some food, before he was taken to the police station as per government requirements. After a long search, we finally located some of his family, only to find out that Wilfred had run away from them as he had been mistreated. His father who had been in a bad accident a long time ago and had spent years in hospital couldn’t be reached.
Wilfred drank some acid at a very young age and burned his esophagus badly. He can’t eat regular food. Wilfred adjusted very quickly to MCH and is very happy there.
