Stalemon Otou
Stalemon still has his parents, but because of the civil war, his family was displaced and his parents live in a refugee camp on the border of Cameroon. They do have a bit of farming going on there, but no educational opportunity for Stalemon. The hope is to reunite him with his family when the conflict is resolved. Stalemon arrived together with his cousin Bristol.
Stalemon loves learning and wants to be a Pastor when he grows up. His favorite subject in school is Math and his favorite color is green. Receiving gifts makes him feel happy and loved. The food he likes most is Water Fufu (a dish made with fermented cassava or yuka root) and Ero (a spinach soup).
