Nina Egu
Both of Nina’s parents have died due to the civil war. Nina is from the English-speaking, northwestern part of Cameroon. She came to MCH through a pastor and Civil rights activist from that region. We might have traced down an uncle of hers and are trying to establish some contact.
Nina feels loved when someone buys her cake for her birthday! Her favorite color is pink. And when she grows up, she wants to be a seamstress. Until then she is happy when she can play sports or watch TV. In school, Math is her favorite subject and at meal times, Water Fufu (a dish made from fermented cassava or yuka root) and Eru (a spinach dish) is her preferred food. She loves her best friend Blessed, simply because she is nice to her.
