Blaise came to us from the Northwest region, where the civil war is going on. His mother was shot while holding him in her arms. It could be the reason for his developmental challenges. His father was wounded in the unrest, too. We seemed to have traced him down, but because the fighting has flared up again, it is impossible to enter that area. Blaise basically lived in the market as a street child. A caring woman who told us his story brought him to MCH.
Blaise loves to eat rice and beans. Sharing makes him happy and he thinks becoming a pastor would be great. He loves animals and agriculture quite a bit. In school his preferred subject is Math. His favorite color is black.
