Bernice Mangwi
Bernice grew up all her life without her father, and after her mother left to get married, she supported herself and her grandmother by growing food and selling part of it. Out of this, she managed to pay even for her own school fees, a remarkable feat at her young age. She is now learning basic nursing skills at school.
She loves to learn and dreams of becoming a medical professional. Her favorite subject in school is terminology. She enjoys sewing and uses this gift at MCH. She and her best friend Charess love to encourage one another. She appreciates advice from the people around her and just being around them. Her favorite food is water fufu (a dish made from fermented cassava or yuka root) and her favorite color is pink.
